• No 12" singles were ever released in Japan.
• All were manufactured by Warner-Pioneer Music.
• Japanese pressings have superior sound quality because manufacturer changes moulds after every 200 discs are printed (instead of 10 000 in other countries).
• Vinyl releases stop with Lovesexy in 1989.

Japan 7" Components

• Sleeves : Picture sleeves with text in English and Japanese, with different design (compare to US and European releases).

Note : in fact the real sleeve (wich protect the record) is a "Warner Bros./Pioneer/R/Elektra/Asylum" blue chess-style die-cut sleeve. The picture is apart from the sleeve. The back side of the picture contain lyrics in English and Japanese. Often an additional sheet appears with a promo picture in black and white.
